Gym
The Colmore Building gym, which is located on floor -5, is a complimentary wellbeing facility designed specifically for the occupiers of the building – The gym is accessible 24-hours a day.
There is a wide range of equipment to suit all fitness needs such as treadmills, cross trainers, various free and fixed weights, TRX suspension kits, table tennis, training mats etc. There are also three televisions, portable mats and a large training area.
Complimentary gym towels and bag storage are also available in the gym.
Personal Trainer
Hi, I’m Jonny Carter, a fully qualified Personal Trainer and Nutritional Therapist at The Colmore Building.
I achieved my Bachelor’s degree in Sport, Health, Exercise and Nutrition at the University of Leeds in 2011, after which I completed my Personal Training qualification and set up my Personal Training business. I then studied Nutritional Therapy at the highly regarded Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) in London, graduating in 2016.
I am an extremely grounded Personal Trainer and Nutritionist. My training and diet advice is realistic and can be tailored to fit into the most hectic of lifestyles – I don’t expect my clients to spend half their life in a gym and eating chicken and broccoli five times a day!
I specialise in weight/fat loss and gaining lean definition (toning up). This is generally achieved through a mixture of resistance training and cardio, tailored to meet individual requirements as results can differ dramatically from person to person.
I am a keen competitive distance runner, having finished fourth in the 2017 International Birmingham Half Marathon and have Personal Bests of 31:51 and 15:01 for 10k and 5k respectively, therefore as well as helping you improve aesthetically I can also help increase your fitness and improve your running performance if this is a goal of yours.

Yoga Classes
Our Yoga Instructor, Claire Jukes, holds a weekly class on a Tuesday lunchtime to help tenants tune in with their mind, body and soul and to create a sense of energy and wellbeing – All abilities are welcome.
